We are pleased to announce that our employee and Co-Managing Director of Ruhrglas Recycling - Benedikt Heitmann - is joining our existing management team at Reiling Glas Recycling with immediate effect. Together with our long-standing Managing Director Marc Uphoff, he is now responsible for the Marienfeld, Gladbeck, Torgau, Osterweddingen and Lünen sites and enriches the management team in particular with his technical expertise.

After completing his studies in recycling and environmental process engineering at Clausthal University of Technology, Benedikt Heitmann began his full-time position in "Research and Development" at Reiling Glas Recycling in 2015, later working for the entire Reiling Group. This was followed by the position of Assistant to the Management Board in 2020 and his appointment as Co-Managing Director of Ruhrglas Recycling in Lünen in 2022.

During his time at Reiling, he got to know our recycling plants, technologies and processes from the ground up and contributed significantly to the optimisation of the plants and technical progress with his work. He also drove forward innovative ideas and successfully researched the recycling of photovoltaic modules. In doing so, he laid the technical foundation for our newest business division.
